Sam Bridge Nursery offers landscape grade trees, shrubs and evergreens. With our wide selection and experience we can help you select from the best new introductions, as well as treasured favorites. Each year brings great new plants for the landscape. Our staff travels extensively to search out the best and the brightest. We featured hardy, locally grown material, as well as exotics from nurseries across the US and Canada. You can count on our high standards of quality to insure you with plant material that will grow in value each passing season.

Flowering Shrubs can brighten any garden spot. Some excellent choices for part shade include:

Hydrangea - we carry over 20 varieties including Endless Summer - an awesome performer that blooms, well, all summer long! It flowers on new and old wood in blue or pink (depending upon the pH of the soil) from July through September.

Spireas - try Gold Flame (2-3') with golden leaves, pink flowers or Pink Parasols - a low slightly spreading shrub with pink flowers in summer.

Excellent choices for the sunny summer spot include:

Abelia - little pink bells all summer, semi-evergreen in the winter months.

Butterfly Bush - the butterflies flock to these all summer. A prolific bloomer in pinks, blues, white and purple. There are even select semi-dwarf introductions that would be great in any sunny border.

Potentilla - these summer favorites flower on and off all summer long. Plants are 2-3' high with flowers in white, yellow, red, orange or pink.
