Located on 20 acres off of North Street in Greenwich, CT, Sam Bridge Nursery features 29 greenhouses where they grow over a half million plants each year.  Started in 1930 and occupying part of the Reynolds family farm dating back to 1686, the nursery is in a country setting surrounded by large mansions.  Here you will find a great selection of quality plant material. Over 1,000 varieties of perennials are grown each spring.  Specialty annuals, roses, flowering trees and shrubs, evergreens, indoor plants, water plants, Christmas trees, wreaths, and roping, along with many other seasonal crops round out the year round operation.  Displays of plant material include a shady border, a new annual rock garden that is changed seasonally, and evergreens around a small pond.  Sam Bridge is also proud to offer free delivery in Greenwich, free gardening classes for all abilities, activities just for kids, a full design and landscape department, and a great sense of customer service you can’t find anywhere else.
